Pharos Solutions is looking for a ” Senior Automation QC Engineer ” with the following requirements

Must have:

BSc/MSc in Computer Engineering or equivalent.
5+ years of experience in Software QC.
Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
3+ years of experience with test automation of large systems.
Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
Familiarity with Playwright or similar end-to-end testing frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Cypress).
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to document and share findings effectively.
Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Git.
Good problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
Enthusiasm for learning new tools and technologies in a collaborative environment.
Familiarity with SaaS or edtech product environments is a plus.
Experience with online assessment platforms.
Exposure to monitoring tools (e.g. AWS, Datadog, etc.)
Knowledge of JIRA and ticket workflow processes.
JavaScript, cypress know how is a plus.
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
Programming knowledge.
Team player.
Good time-management skills.
Documentation skills.
Fluency in English (German is a plus).

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with Typescript to ensure the quality and reliability of our web applications.
Manage automated test execution, reporting defects clearly and concisely
Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other senior QA engineers to understand requirements and deliver comprehensive test coverage.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes, automation, and frameworks.
Participate in agile ceremonies and promote a culture of quality across the team.
