Mid-Level Backend Developer

Pharos Solutions in its Alexandria branch is looking for a “Mid-Level Backend Developer” with the following requirements

Must have:

• BSc/MSc in Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Good knowledge with Java, Ruby on Rails, HTML, JavaScript, and Java desktop applications.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSql Server databases.
• Experience in developing and maintaining Windows services.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good inter-personal skills.
• Knowledge of best security practices and experience handling sensitive data.
• AWS and Kubernetes knowledge is a plus.
• Fluency in English (German is a plus).

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Implementation of complex requirements as part of a development team in an agile environment.
• Contribute to the team’s work with high-quality, well-tested and scalable code.
• Be involved in the whole development lifecycle.
• Know delivery goals and be familiar with the team roadmaps.
• Gather requirements from customers or other teams within the company.
• Ensure different issues are tracked and resolved on time.
• Contribute to the team and the company with own ideas for code, process improvement and new products.
